Landesstiftung "Familie in Not" - Apply for benefits
The regional foundation helps families who have fallen on hard times as a result of a serious event. Foundation benefits can primarily be applied for by
- Families with at least one child entitled to child benefit,
- Families with disabled relatives,
- Single-parent families.
The financial support from the state foundation is intended to help to overcome an Overcome an emergency situation. The foundation benefits are voluntary benefits. There is no legal entitlement. The amount of support depends on income and varies depending on the individual emergency situation.
Responsible authority
- Counselling centres including debt counselling centres run by independent non-profit organisations (such as Caritas, Diakonie, pro familia).
- Counselling centres of the municipalities, youth and social welfare offices
- the recognised pregnancy counselling centres
- Hospital social services and welfare centres
Details
Prerequisite
You can receive benefits from the Landesstiftung if
- Your family is in need,
- there are no other possibilities for help (e.g. advance maintenance payments, social assistance) or existing possibilities are not sufficient,
- the emergency situation can be overcome permanently with the help of the foundation and
- You as the applicant have your permanent residence in Baden-Württemberg.
Procedure
Arrange a meeting with the relevant counselling centre. During this meeting, the advice centre will complete the application to the Landesstiftung together with you. It will then forward the application to the award committee at the Baden-Württemberg Municipal Association for Youth and Social Affairs. The committee makes the final decision on the application.
If the decision is favourable, you will receive a notification from L-Bank.
If the Kommunalverband für Jugend und Soziales Baden-Württemberg rejects your application, you will receive notification from them.
